Prayer Points After Boston Marathon Terrorist Attack – For Any Terrorist Attack

American Flag

These prayer points or topics fit any disaster or sadness in any part of the world. Today they apply to America and the terrorist attack at the 2013 Boston Marathon.

+Pray for the people and their families hurt in the – Boston Marathon terrorist attack (or any other similar event). Pray that they be comforted in Jesus and turn to God and not to anger against or accuse God.

+Pray that friends and neighbors would show the love of God to them, and especially with help for all the medical bills, life trauma and loss of income.

+Pray that Christians would go to them and heal their bodies and minds, and restore their limbs as Jesus commanded.

+Pray that their testimonies of divine healing be known so that the wicked will know that God is our Helper and our Healer.

+Pray that God give the investigators wisdom and knowledge to find who, why and where these people who did this and to apprehend them without further loss of life.

+Pray that those who did this terrible attack be blinded to further cooperation for hiding and doing more crime, that their work be thrown into confusion so that they can no longer work together, that their money and friends dry up, and that God send his hornets of the fear of the Lord to stop them from more evil, to turn themselves in, and to make restitution to all.

+Pray that all those who rejoiced in this attack repent and turn to God to walk as true peace makers of God in the salvation of Jesus.

+Pray that Jesus be exalted as Lord in the middle of all this terror so the devil does not dominate in terror, panic and irrational fear.

+Pray that America:

  •  See we need God enough to turn from our wicked ways.
  • That all Christians see their part in this from a lack of holiness and not continually seeking the Lord.
  • That God’s people, Christians’s and Jew, repent and turn ever more to the Lord.
  • That God’s preachers preach and demonstrate in power the gospel of reconciliation in Jesus (1 Cor 2:5).
  • And ask for mercy for the prophets of God who did not see and warn of this specific attack in advance so it could have been prevented.
  • That people do not get despondent or hopeless, rather they commit themselves to seeking and trusting God more.

What other things should we be praying right now?

+Pray that those who God warned before this attack take heed so they can learn to hear Him when He speaks.

+Pray that those who saw these criminals before the attack would have prayed and intervened and not just shrugged off the warnings of God.

+Pray that the Body of Christ would rise up with Holy Spirit gifts so that the police go to them and not the psychics to help in crime investigation.

+Pray that God’s Daniel Warriors and Seers would make themselves available to the investigators as the psychics are now doing.

+Pray that whenever two or more gather we pray 1 Tim 2:2-6:

1 Tim 2:2 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

From Cindy Jacobs:

Pray for the exposure of any other possible bomb threats and/or terrorist attacks.

Pray that the Lord to give wisdom to the authorities as they take security measures to ensure the safety and protection of their cities. (Luke 12:2)

Pray for America. Ask the Lord for mercy on our nation and for Him to guard our nation with His mercy, peace and security. Declare that the hand of the enemy cannot touch this land! (Psalm 91)

Here is Dan 9:3-19 modified for our land now.

3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplication, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 4 and I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, Father, I come to You in the name and blood of Jesus, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 5 we have sinned, and have committed iniquity (made money, pleasure, safety, the arm of man, apathy, indifference, entertainment and Mammon our strength and hope), and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: 6 neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of our land, and to the inhabitants of our capital city – Washington DC, and unto all our people everywhere, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast sent them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee and been ignorant of Your laws and ways, readers and not doers of Your words. 8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, elected and appointed leaders, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

9 To You, O Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against You; 10 neither have we obeyed Your voice, the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in Your laws, which You set before us byYour servants the prophets. 11 Yea, all of us have transgressed thy law and fallen short of Your glory in Jesus, O’ God, even by departing, that we might not obey thy voice by seeking to walk just like Jesus in all things; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God and in Galatians 6 where You say:

Gal 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

… 13 As it is written that we will reap what we have sown to the flesh and not the Spirit: yet made we not our prayer before You, the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth in Jesus Christ. 14 Therefore hath You, the Lord, watched upon the evil, and could not stop it from coming upon us: for ou, the Lord our God, are righteous in all Your works which You doeth: for we obeyed not Your voice.

15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, that raised Jesus from the dead and raised us up with Jesus in spite of our sins and given us redemption in His blood, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let the devil’s anger and …fury be turned away from us: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, this land and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant who is a son by the new creation in Jesus, and my supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate in our hard hearts toward You, for the Lord’s sake. 18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the people which is called by thy name, Christians: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies in Jesus. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, You have forgiven us in the mighty work of Jesus, so release Your healing into Your people and this land; send Your healing word, embolden Your preachers and make the workers wise and willing; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for this country and for thy people who are called by thy name.

And Acts 4:24-31

Acts 4:24 “…they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: 25 who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? 26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. 27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, 28 for to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. 29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, rejection, mockery, ridicule, false humility, lies and terrors: and grant unto thy servants who are Your sons, that with all boldness we may speak thy word, 30 by stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Now, Father, in the name of Jesus, shake this people to repentance and boldness in righteousness, peace, joy, power, love and sound mind in Holy Spirit so that we are all filled with the Holy Ghost, and we speak the word of God of Your grace in Jesus with boldness. So Father, in the name of Jesus, I say, devil, get your hands off God’s people, I break the yoke of offense, forgiveness and bitterness toward God and command it to go in the name of Jesus, and I command our inner man, created in righteousness and true holiness, to rise up and seek the Lord until we come to Him again, in the name of Jesus.

And Mark 16:15-20

And Father that we heed and obey the command of Jesus:

Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

And Father, get us to obey these commands:

1 Cor 12:31 “But covet earnestly the best gifts [of Holy Spirit including words of wisdom, words of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working or miracles; prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse tongues and interpretation of tongues]: and [use them to walk in] the more excellent way of agape/love.”

1 Cor 14:1 “Follow after charity, and desire (with faithfulness and intensity) spiritual gifts [as listed in 1 Cor 12], but rather (especially) that ye may prophesy.”

And Father get us to stir ourselves up into You, that we go forth, and preach everywhere, so that the Lord can work with us, and confirm the word of grace in truth, love, reconciliation, redemption, remission, gift of righteousness, sanctification, adoption, betrothal, access and mercy with signs following.  So that we preach through mighty signs and wonders that only You can do.  Amen.

God is no respecter of persons. His ways apply to all, all the time. If you do not see God move, the problem is not on the “God” end. But rest assured the devil will try to get you to blame God.

We are destroyed, walk in failure, fear and confusion, by lack of knowledge and lies, not some administrative decision by God.

God is no respecter of persons. Do the right things and you will get the right results; do anything different and you will be unhappy sooner or later. Digital Universe.

Evil works inspired and powered by the devil are no match for the Living God, but they sure tempt fleshly leaky neurons, even in those spiritually righteous.

There are no wrong answers here, only seek more of Jesus who already paid for every failure we ever made, are now making, or will make. Since He was healed of it, so are you.

It will be shameful for you to show up on the Day of Judgment and see that every hardness of heart was already healed and waiting for you to do the right labour to get that hardness of heart healing already done in Jesus.

A Bible not devoured is like bags of seed stored away. The potential of God into the Earth is there, but never a harvest is made. Jesus is the Seed. The only soil that matters is your heart.

Keep Working the Word so God can Work!

God Bless You and Yours in the Name of Jesus to be more Noble in Him (Acts 17:11-12)

Jesus is Lord of Heaven and Earth!
