How to use the Power Trilogy and our other resources
You’ve heard the testimonies, Holy Spirit is talking to you and you are eager to move into a more exciting and powerful stage of life full of supernatural Holy Spirit power. But where do I start?
First, thank you for getting the Power Trilogy:
- OK, GOD, Now What
- Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2
- Discovering Our Redemption)
And our other books (Keys to Breaking Habits and Making It Work).
Individually or combined these are powerful tools to help you learn to release God wherever you need heaven on earth. And in the process grow your intimate relationship with God so that you become a more complete reflection of His love like Jesus is. We wrote these as what we wish we had had available to us over 40 years ago, when we started our sincere Christian walk.
So yes, the Power Trilogy comprises the starter program for a Christian formation or development set. Not just for church attendance, but for walking in dunamis power, agape love, righteousness, peace, joy, prosperity and a sound and disciplined mind like Jesus has. And in the process put lies, doubt, fear and unbelief on the run in your life. And your joy increase in answered prayer and the glory of God filling you and yours.
John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I (Jesus) say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise knowing Jesus has met all the requirements for you) in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise knowing Jesus has met all the requirements for you) any thing in my name, I will do it.”
John 16:23 “And in that day ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise knowing Jesus has met all the requirements for you) me nothing. Verily, verily, I (Jesus) say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise knowing Jesus has met all the requirements for you) the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye aiteo/asked (demanded, required and expected as due by covenant promise knowing Jesus has met all the requirements for you) nothing in my name: aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise knowing Jesus has met all the requirements for you), and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”
SOME KEY UNDERSTANDINGS
One big thing standing between us and the realization of these promises is the continual assault of lies, doubt, fear and unbelief in our minds from the present world system to confuse our hearts or subconscious minds, so we do not exercise overcoming faith to the same level Jesus or the early disciples did. Since the assault is constant, so must be the godly cleaning or resistance effort.
1 Tim 4:13 “Till I (Paul) come, give attendance to reading (the public reading of scripture), to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate (fill your mind night and day as Joshua was commanded in Joshua 1:5-9, let them not depart from your mouth) upon these things; give thyself wholly to them (with diligence and intense effort); that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both sozo/save (make your soul pure to the level of Jesus) thyself, and them that hear thee.”
We have eternal salvation with God forever as a gift by the work of Jesus, but we have to do our part now, in this life, to bring heaven to earth in any form of answered prayer and good works like Jesus did.
One key understanding is that lies, doubt, fear and unbelief are like dust and dirt. It accumulates every day from the world system. And most of it is very subtle or subliminal, so you are not even aware of it. If you are not keeping your heart Jesus-clean every day, lies, doubt, fear and unbelief are building every day.
Heb 4:11 “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”
Yes, there is a right kind of godly work that leads to believing, and without that right work, we stay or even grow in more unbelief.
Luke 8:18 “(Jesus said) Take heed therefore how ye hear [using any present ungodly preconceptions and attitudes to filter what you hear]: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.”
But just like regular baths, or spring cleaning, you can get rid of lies, doubt, fear and unbelief and walk in overcoming faith. Just like any skill, it takes effort and continued maintenance, to keep a house clean or a heart pure in Jesus.
For our use we define a pure heart is one that the fullness of God’s Word and only has the Word of God as truth and grace, and all others “words” are less than, and subservient to, God’s written Words. That way, when we operate in God our subconscious or heart only has supporting help and not hindering confusion. Thus our heart is then in pure agreement with Holy Spirit no matter what the topic.
1 Cor 2:12 “Now we have received [in the new creation process], not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”
Or another way to say this is that a pure heart or subconscious mind is in full agreement, zeal and active cooperation with Holy Spirit, the mind of Christ, within the born-again Christian.
1 John 3:1 “Behold (stop what you are now doing and thinking and make this change your manner of life and immediate next actions into a new way of living), what manner of agape/love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called (made and established in the position and heritage of) the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Agape/Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man (or woman) that hath this hope in him (or her) purifieth himself (or herself), even as he (Jesus) is pure.”
So how do we make our faith in God effective? How do we purify our heart to the level God requires? How do you overcome doubt, fear and unbelief? How do we make this knowledge that we are sons in God effective in every part of our lives and in those we love? How do we keep our hearts as pure as Jesus is pure? And for many of us, how do I get answers to my prayers?
I am glad you asked because God has given us an answer to that. By faith we are talking about our relationship with the invisible God based on what He proclaims is His written word, the Bible. This relationship may give you great comfort, blessing and joy. And by God’s definition, this relationship is not complete until He can freely bring heaven to earth through you as He did in Jesus.
For many it is hard to believe that God wants to give us heaven on earth more than we want our prayers answered. Part of the difficulty lies in the best-guess assumptions we continually make and that then govern our lives. Some are very valid, such as the effort it took to study and pass an exam. But others are not so solid. For example, you won a contest while wearing a red shirt. Forever you strive to wear a red shirt, or some red somewhere on your body, every time you need a victory.
The problem is that many of these best-guess assumptions, while made in sincerity, were not based on the truth and grace Jesus came to give. These best-guess assumptions make up our internal system of beliefs and self identity. Thus any of these bad best-guess assumptions on life become hindrances to walking in overcoming faith. We define purity before God as replacing these false and inaccurate best-guess assumptions with the grace and truth Jesus came to give.
And when we do this right, it releases the zoe life Jesus came to give us an abundance of. It is there like streams of living water, waiting and seeking for a way to come out.
John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have zoe/life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
John 8:31 “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue (strive, abide, make a great effort to keep, obey and live) in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 and [as a result of this continuing, striving, abiding, making a great effort to keep, obey and live in Jesus’ words] ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
There is a striving, a continuing that can make us free to be all Jesus came to give us. But without that striving, that continuing, it will not happen.
We strive to labor together with the Lord so: Philemon 6 “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” KJV
Secret Key to Spiritual Development: an expanded paraphrase:
Philemon 6 “That the communication (the actual Christian living out with and by Holy Spirit to the continual glory of God and your extreme delight) of your faith may become effectual (with internal godly strength, walked out in agape/love and miracle power in the mind of Christ within you to fulfil your destiny in God) by the continued and forceful making yourself epignosis/acknowledging (to being a master craftsman and able to disciple others to become master craftsmen) of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus [by the new creation, born again you].”
Thus in the Power Trilogy we are talking about, not shelf books and quick reads for enlightenment and entertainment, but a method that produces godly transformation to a lifestyle that continually releases the awesome power of God within each Christian, Holy Spirit, maker and lover of the Universe. And the result will be to give you the best life possible, starting now.
While each book in the Power Trilogy has instructions for you on how to use it, we offer a summary of instructions and concepts here.
There are three major ways to use the Power Trilogy tools.
1) Cramming for an immediate prayer need.
2) Long term mind renewing for encouragement, prosperity, joy, destiny, power, love and inspiration.
3) Discussion and study groups.
Cramming here means seeking God by aligning your mind by immersion for 8-20 hours a day for 2-6 days in the scriptures related to the issue at hand. This is just how many college students cram for an exam. The results will be seen when you pray or minister God’s zoe life with God’s power released to do good in supernatural power and right wisdom.
Scriptural examples of the cramming concept include the terms, “night and day,” “continually,” and “all day long.”
Ps 35:27 “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually (on a daily multiple event schedule and as occasion serves), Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. 28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.”
Ps 71:7 “I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge. 8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.”
Ps 71:14 “But I will hope ccontinually (on a daily multiple event schedule and as occasion serves), and will yet praise thee more and more. 15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. 16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”
Ps 88:1 “O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee: 2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry; 3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.”
Luke 18:1 “And he (Jesus) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 and there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
And for examples of regular schedules:
Ps 119:164 “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
Ps 119:62 “At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
Acts 16:25 “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.”
Ps 55:16 “As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. 17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”
Ps 119:147 “I prevented (got up before) the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word. 148 Mine eyes prevent (arose before) the night watches (occurred every hour all night), that I might meditate in thy word. 149 Hear my voice according unto thy chesed/lovingkindness: O Lord, quicken me according to thy judgment.”
Cramming is a time of intense, focused effort beyond a normal schedule of study. Just like a student who has been going to class and taking notes, now is the exam, the test of our faith. And to get ready for that exam or pass this test, we will now saturate ourselves with truth to use in the test to victory. Thus we will know, not at a superficial level, but deep in our cognitive mind, the grace and truth Jesus came to bring and use that to set ourselves and others free into the glory and goodness of God.
We call it cramming, as it is a process where you saturate your mind with God’s truth in scripture on the topic or need at hand. You do this until you are fully persuaded as was Abraham in Romans 4, growing strong in faith by continually giving God glory – exuberant thanksgiving, praise, joy and glory, knowing that God cannot lie, He will do His promises and He is able. As you become fully persuaded, your confidence in God grows and then you release God to do His blessing in the earth.
It includes the process of filling your mind with the truth of the New Testament revelation of “Christ in you the hope of glory” (Col 1:27) to the exclusion of almost everything else. This means God is to reign in the earth through you, the born-again Christian.
Rom 5:17 “For if by one man’s offence (Adam) death reigned (as a cruel king in all the misery seen on earth) by one (Adam); much more they (born-again Christians) which lambano/receive (hold onto, never let go of as a man holding onto a life preserver in a storm, or a warrior with his sword in battle the) abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness (from our salvation in Jesus) shall reign (as kings and priests unto and by Father God as Jesus did) in zoe/life by one, Jesus Christ.”
You can chose to relate to God as a stranger, away from Him, a servant and stuck on earth, barely hanging on to His mercy, or as a son or daughter who is seated in Jesus with Father God as His agent to bring His love and power to earth. But please recognize that God commands us to focus on our new creation reality as a son of God. In the new birth each one is made a general for God to release God into the earth because of the work He did in Jesus 2000 years ago.
Eph 4:17 “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the zoe/life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 “But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 and be renewed in the spirit (of yourself identity) of your mind; 24 and that ye put on the new man, which after God [just like Jesus] is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
Rom 13:14 “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
In this cramming or seeking God process, you are forcing your cognitive mind to focus only on the relevant scriptures concerning the new creation and the issues a hand, and overwhelming your subconscious mind into the new creation truth and God’s promises. And you continue in the process until, at least temporarily, your heart is no longer in confusion or in accusation against God, others or yourself. In that sense it is a forceful process that most high school and college graduates know on mostly secular subjects.
1 Peter 1:13 “So brace up (strengthen, refocus, prepare for battle, resistance, misery, wrestling, counter attacks and long delay as a seasoned warrior) your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope (the joyful expectation of coming good) wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed [when the answer is manifest as a portion of heaven on earth]. AMP
It is a way to put this truth to work in your life:
Eph 2:5 “Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He (Father God by the spirit of zoe life) made us zao/alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very zoe/life of Christ Himself, the same new zoe/life with which He zao/quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are sozo/saved (delivered from judgment, released into blessing and made partakers of Christ’s soteria/salvation starting now). 6 And He raised us up together with Him (Jesus) and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him (Father God)] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” AMP
This is very different from begging intercession where people are “breaking down the gates of heaven.” This is usually combined with very little scripture or thanksgiving, but is filled with, “Hear me Oh, God,” and, “Please Jesus,” as found occasionally in the Psalms, but not anywhere in the New Testament. This style focuses on much pleading and begging God to move.
First of all, why am I bombarding the gates of heaven when I am already seated in Jesus on the throne next to Father God? I have to leave the throne room to go bang on the doors of heaven. And from the description in Revelation (assuming that the throne is in the center of the heavenly Jerusalem) that is some 750 miles away from the throne room. Why am I going to where I have to shout from where I can be heard in a whisper?
Why am I begging God to give me something when He has already spoken or commanded to me and mine every possible good thing of heaven there is to say?
Eph 1:2 “Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings (said or decreed every possible thing He can say to and for us) in heavenly places in Christ.”
So it is not about getting God to say something good about my need, but for me to believe He will do it as I exercise the necessary faith in Him.
Matt 6:32 “(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”
We have been commanded to set our minds on the throne where we are seated in Christ. The “cramming process” for seeking and drawing nigh to God uses the Power Trilogy as a focused way to do this.
Col 3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection (desire, passion, confidence, hope and pondering) on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your zoe/life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our zoe/life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”
And if we get that message right then we will be:
Col 1:12 “Giving thanks (continually) unto the Father, which hath made us meet [by grace] to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his agape/dear Son: 14 in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness (remission, removal, purging, putting away, washing and obliteration) of sins: 15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.”
So that is how you know you have crammed enough, when the minute you think of the situation, you know the scriptures on it and give God exuberant thanksgiving, praise, joy and glory over it. See also Phil 4:4-9.
As cramming is a cognitive mind process that writes very little on the heart, then, if you do not keep it up for at least 90 days, that confidence in God you gained will be lost in 2-5 days after you stop, as if you had never crammed. Again, this is the same as happens to college students who crammed for a few days, got an A on the exam (like I often did), and then forgot most of it in 2-5 days (as I often did).
Again, depending on the amount of truth and love you currently walk in, your initial cramming sessions may take much longer than 2-5 days to see release into exuberant thanksgiving or immediate prayer results. Our suggestion is to keep at it with any of the Power Trilogy books until you gain victory, but add in repeating out loud every scripture 2-5 times, and/or reviewing each chapter in the Bible the scripture came from.
Rom 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
The power or anointing is in the Word. When results are slow, get more Word in you with repetition powered by more thanksgiving, praise and rejoicing.
With cramming you may pass the exam or get the prayer answered, but that is not the victorious life Jesus has for you. You can return and cram using the Power Trilogy as many times as you need, but soon you will come to realize a life-long maintenance program is better, and a lot more fun!
The goal of the Power Trilogy is to get your mind (both the cognitive and the heart or subconscious mind) renewed into the basic concepts of the new man in Christ as quickly as possible, and then build from there.
Most Christian activity is based on cognitive efforts like you did in school. This includes cognitive efforts like preaching, Bible studies, teaching sessions, devotionals, journaling, study notes, discussion groups, workshops, seminars, classes, schools, reading books and articles, and other spiritual disciplines. Yet few wonder why we are still struggling to follow the 10 commandments, or the one commandment of Jesus to love one another. If preaching alone or other cognitive approaches did the job then heaven would already be filling the earth.
Cognitive work is all necessary, but it alone is not the answer for walking like Jesus offered, to do even greater works than He did. Intentional subconscious or heart work is part of what it takes and was well understood by the writers of the Bible. In the language of education, this is called Affective Learning and is different from Cognitive Learning.
Unfortunately over time we lost the technology of heart writing that was well-known to those from Moses to John The Revelator. This heart writing has been rediscovered by science, high performance people and other groups. And is now available for anyone who will do the work to transform their lives with effective and godly mind renewing as we are commanded.
Rom 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
The true test of a discipleship program is how well people walk just like Jesus under pressure and in difficult times in Holy Spirit righteousness, peace, joy, dunamis power, agape love and the mind of Christ just like Jesus has, and not just by how many scriptures they can quote. Scripture memorization is vitally necessary, but that alone is not the complete answer.
The reality is that every day someone is writing things on your heart, and most of it is subliminal or out of your present awareness. If you are not intentionally doing a heart writing program, others are writing their goals on your heart. So this is not a matter of starting something new as it is taking control and intentionally transforming your life with godly mind renewing against the pull of the world system on you every moment of every day.
Cognitive work is lost in 2-5 days once stopped, and is readily replaced with today’s new material with yesterday’s forgotten. The cognitive mind craves variety and new, but our lives run 95% of the time out of the subconscious mind or heart, which is a reflection of what you have been doing for the last 90 days or longer. Your life is a reflection of the true state of your heart, not the last devotional you did.
The heart is the seat of the subconscious mind, and renewing or programming the heart is different from cognitive learning. Heart writing consists of months of repetition of the same material and other techniques to have it come out as the voice of the conscious, new desirable habits and extinguishing undesirable habits. If you have to think about it, it is not fully written in your heart. When it is what you do by lifestyle, naturally, without thinking or deliberation, then it is written in your heart.
And if you do not maintain that right godly heart, the world system will pull you back into its way of living. So we are talking an initial remedial effort to build you up and then a life maintenance program of a new way of living intentionally.
So another way to say this is:
What is missing between you walking just like Jesus in every part of life is an intentional and biblical heart writing or subconscious mind reprogramming effort along with right cognitive activities. That is the message, purpose and heart writing tools you will find in the Power Trilogy, and they work!
The other two books, Keys to Breaking Habits and Making It Work augment the basic Power Trilogy series.
- Keys to Breaking Habits (57 pages) goes into detail on the habit formation and modification process with lots of testimonies of those who have used portions of the Power Trilogy for life advancement. Science has found that we live typically 95% out of our subconscious or un-aware mind and only 5% out of our cognitive mind, the one you are aware of that you are reading this. The subconscious or heart is where our habits operate, and we operate 95% of the time by habit. Thus your life is a reflection of what has been written on your heart as habits, not the good intentions you made today. To walk in the Christian life means to replace any existing worldly habits with godly habits like Jesus has. This is also called behavior modification. This book goes into more detail on habits and provides tips and strategies on how to break evil habits and establish new, godly ones to the glory of God.
- Making It Work (59 pages) shows the basics of Christian foundation and how to rightly use the Scriptures to produce the fruit of God in your life. This makes a great gift for new Christians and a refresher for existing Christians.
The Power Trilogy is designed to be used as a set, but each book stands on its own. Nor is the same material covered in each book. That is why we have all three books, as that is the minimum material any Christian needs to upgrade their walk in Christ.
NOW, LET’S LOOK AT EACH POWER TRILOGY BOOK
OK, GOD, Now What is for:
- Understanding the science behind the biblical processes for mind renewing into our new creation in Christ identity.
- How to build and maintain powerful, effective and overcoming faith.
- And for general life needs ranging from family to ministry to jobs so you can walk in the fullness of God’s destiny for you and yours.
This 347 page book is in two major sections. First is the teaching section for study and use in discussion and study groups (262 pages), and second is the Affirmation Magnets for daily personal use (85 pages).
- The teaching section is designed to lead you into the concepts of heart programming, what it is, how it works, recent findings of modern science and basic Christian concepts of the New Testament. There is also a proposed intense mind renewal or remedial program on page 173.
- The Affirmation Magnets are in two sections. First is A-Z on releasing God’s power. The second is Affirmation Magnets 1-60 on godly prosperity. They are called magnets as they will cause you to always seek the Lord no matter what is going on in, or around you. Thus your heart will become “magnetized” to God to a greater level than ever before.
- NOTE: Why is it so critical to seek God? Because the blessings of God are for those that seek Him continually:
- Heb 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
- This way, no matter how hard life gets, with continually seeking the Lord, you will do the right things to release God:
- Col 3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection (love, desire, passion and pondering) on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your zoe/life [to the answer for every need] is hid with Christ in God.”
- Jesus said it this way:
- John 5:30 “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
- John 8:29 “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”
- The explanation for every failure can be found in the failure to seek God so you find Him, not His teaching, but Him. He does not move, we do. So seeking the Lord is the process that brings us back into right agreement with Him so the blessing can flow. We are the issue, not God for He changes not.
a) The most efficient method for rapid mind renewing is to do all the Affirmation Magnets (A-60) every day. For most people each section takes about 2 hours, or about 4 hours for A-60.
b) Yes, this is work; the good works we were recreated for. These are the same kinds of foundational good works Jesus did, the early apostles did, and powerful believers do today. This is the same awesome passage that tells us we are saved by grace, also tells us we are saved to do good works.
Eph 2:8 “For by grace are ye sozo/saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (the good works).
And again in Timothy 1 and 2, the term of good works is found 5 times, and 4 times in Titus. And we are told to exhort all men to do good works. And renewing the mind as did the early Christians with 3-14 hours in the scriptures daily is part of it.
Titus 2:14 “(Jesus) who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
That “let no man despise you” includes all those who confuse grace to mean no works. The great writer in that subject, Paul, is the one who also said we are saved to do good works, and that means works of the God kind, just like Jesus did. We are not talking about collecting money to feed the poor, that is part of it, but also multiplying the food like Jesus did so you don’t use the money.
And those modern people who do what it takes to do those good works usually get it by accident and Holy Spirit guidance, and usually in parts and pieces. They are the bright lights of God today.
But what we do not understand we lose quickly. The purpose of the Power Trilogy, and especially OK, GOD, Now What , is to explain the mechanics and science of the process God requires so they are not easily lost, and the Word of God does not get lost so we do produce its wonderful fruit. Notice fruit production is dependent on the work of man, not God. The seed is good; it is our part that make the difference. Lack of fruit means ignorance of the Word and/or lots of stolen Word. This awesome God-fruit, like Jesus had, is available to all, but reaped by few.
Matt 13:19 “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.”
Now science has given a fuller understanding of lost scriptural knowledge for mind renewing, and explains why they work. It is the best method, the Bible method God has given to obey the command to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
But however you do it you are commanded this: to be at war (against the devil and to bring the Kingdom of God to earth) and to bring every thought in our heads to the obedience of Christ. And that takes the foundational effort, the works.
2 Cor 10:4 “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
c) Little steps do count. You can start with 3-5 minutes a day and work up to all 4 hours a day. See our free offer of Affirmation A broken into ten steps to get you going. It can be found at http://covenantpeaceministries.com/Radio_TV_Offers.html
d) For starters, make a decision to tithe 10% of each 24 hour day to the Lord. That is about 2 hours and 24 minutes each day. That can be in one session or in 6-10 sessions throughout the day. That is a minimum commitment for Christian faith maintenance.
e) The typical first century Christian spent some 3-6 hours a day with all night sessions 1-4 nights a week, and for special needs, rising early in the morning. This is the kind of schedule Jesus, Peter, James and Paul seemed to have kept. Thus on the all-night days, assuming eight hours of sleep, that was 11-14 hours a day in the Scriptures. So 2.4 hours per day is a bare minimum.
f) Jewish prayer or communion with God consisted mostly of quoting Bible promises back to God for God to perform along with times of exuberant thanksgiving, praise, rejoicing and giving glory to God, based primarily on the Psalms (and for the Christians, the New Testament letters).
g) You can do the Affirmation Magnets in one session or broken up throughout the day, which is the preferred method so it keeps you focused on God and receiving His help throughout the day.
h) But for heart writing, the issue is the time spent with the same material, not how you do it. So one daily four-hour session is just as good as eight half hour sessions throughout that day. What we have learned is the daily schedule is best – 7 days a week, every week for a minimum of 90 days. Do it only 5 days a week, not 7, and the length of time for results is doubled.
Not only is daily repetition critical for fastest results, but so is the amount of total time spent per day with the same material. While even 3 minutes a day will help, the pace for dramatic results, or more God in your life, is slow.
What I suggest for those just starting, but do not already have disciplined times with God, is to first get going with one session at whatever time of day you can schedule, and once that is working, repeat the session more times per day. Then start adding more material for slightly longer times.
So perhaps all of Affirmation A (3-5 minutes for most, or 1/2 of A if you read out loud slower) first thing in the morning. Then add in another session of the same before you go to bed. Then add a few more during the day. Soon you will be up to 20-30 minutes per day. Then expand your morning session another 5 minutes by adding in Affirmation Magnet B, and then gradually add it to your other sessions.
An alternate is to do A in the morning, B at lunch and C before you go to bed. The key is repetition of the same material every day for at least 90 days.
The above schedule may take you a while to get up to an hour a day, but it is a start. Best is 6-8 hours a day as a regular lifestyle of intentional mind renewing in God and His Word. If your life is peaceful, take your time. If things get rough, vacation is over and you need to get serious.
And God will help you, and your past programming in your subconscious and the devil will resist you no matter how much time you devote to this mind renewing each day. So know in advance it will be a fight. You will be assaulted inside and out for some time to come.
The question is, “Have you made God bigger, stronger and more relevant than the challenges in your life, or have you let the problems get bigger, stronger and more relevant than God and His goodness that raised Jesus from the dead?”
i) Since subconscious mind or heart writing is based on repetition, it is better to spend at least 90 continuous days on the same material. Thus if you only can spend only an hour a day in the Affirmation Magnets, do what you can do in an hour, starting with A and then repeat that every day for 90 days.
For example if you can do Affirmation Magnets A-P every day, do that for 90 days, then move to Q-Z for the next 90 days. Then move to 1-33 and then to 34-60 in 90 day sessions. Then go back and start at A again. Thus at one hour a day, it will take you 4-8 years to renew your mind to the level that you could have done in 1 year at A-60 every day. Ask Holy Spirit for guidance on your schedule. Add variety as needed.
j) The more time per day you can spend in the Affirmation Magnets will produce results in more answered prayer, general peace and contentment, happier marriages, power with God and increased prosperity.
k) Any schedule that works for you is the way to start. And you will have some days where you do less, and others more. Be consistent but flexible.
l) We recommend you start each day with the Our Father, Psalm 23 and 91, and obey Matt 5:44/Luke 6:28 every day upon rising, followed by your OK, GOD, Now What Affirmation Magnet sets, and 2 hours of loud, hard and fast tongues as a basic or core program. Add in other Christian disciplines and activities as appropriate.
For example I do most of my praying in tongues as I drive around in my car each day or as I walk from place to place. I may also pray in softer tongues as I read books or the Bible, or write blog articles. Do your physical exercise of walking for one hour while praying in tongues loud, hard and fast. Weekends may be more or less depending on what is going on.
m) You may be tempted to try to study the Affirmation Magnets as you read them. Save that for later. For heart writing this is about repetition, not study. Your heart can process words about 11 million times faster than your cognitive mind can.
The cognitive mind processes data at the rate of around 16-50 bits per second while the subconscious runs at 11 million bits per second. We are talking time in heart writing, processing in the fast but unseen lane of the subconscious mind. You are making a cognitive choice and effort to reprogram your heart or subconscious mind where habits dwell. Plan on other times for study.
Every word of God is a window into God. Right study means the bigger and better God gets. The Jews have an expression that says every verse has 70 valid interpretations. Thus study is a never-ending process. Heart writing is explained more in the book but the key is to do the repetition by speaking out loud or silently moving the lips with lots of positive emotion actions thrown in. Holy Spirit will make various verses come alive as you do the heart writing, often for cognitive meditation throughout the day. Whether you include the scripture references is up to you.
The major plan of OK, GOD, Now What is to start with the teaching section while you do at least ½ hour of the Affirmation Magnets starting with Affirmation A each day. If you have time, start the teaching section while doing all Affirmation Magnets A-60 every day.
The key to heart or subconscious mind writing is repetition, not detailed study. For normal development you do a backbone of heart writing with constant repetition along with sessions of cognitive work in devotionals, study, sharing, tongues and topical prayer. So you get repetition of the same material in heart writing, and for cognitive learning, a variety of different material and practices.
Note, the Affirmation Magnets A-Z is the same as those found in The Battle Prayer for Diving Healing – Field Manual 2 (FM2). In FM2 they are called the Minister Confessions and also are for daily use, or for repetitive use in prayer battles.
Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2 is for:
- Immediate divine healing results by prayer repetition and scripture encouragement for:
- Personal needs;
- For ministry to others at the bedside;
- Or across the planet.
- Teaching and devotions on divine healing for personal and group refreshing.
- Discussion and Bible study on divine healing or prayer in general.
This entire 588 page book is designed to be read out loud, straight through, in about 24 hours. The whole book is a technique or prayer manual. That way if the initial ministry to the sick does not produce the desired results, the minister (or ministry team) can stay in the battle as long as needed using the entire book in a repetitive manner.
The basic principles of FM2 are from Bible principles demonstrated by Dr. John Lake where he had over 200,000 fully documented by the medical profession as (divinely) healed over 10 years in Spokane, WA, and Portland, OR, from about 1914-1925. Most were what they called “last chancers” where medical science had given up on them to die, and through Dr. Lake’s Divine Healing Technician ministry, they were documented by the medical profession as healed.
That 200,000 in ten years averages out to some 80 people healed a day in Dr. Lake’s Healing Rooms. Roughly 25% were healed on the first ministry; the others took repetition ministry. Most were healed within 30 days; some took 91 or more days of repetition ministry.
- This Field Manual 2 (FM2) has some 140 pages of healing scriptures in three sections. With an average of 20 verses per page, that is some 2,800 scriptures.
- The Battle Prayer itself consists of 28 prayers over about 56 pages, and takes approximately 2 hours to say out loud straight through.
- Some 40 pages are the Minister Confession A-Z for immediate mind cramming to release God’s power, and take about 2 hours to say out loud, and are the same as the OK, GOD, Now What Affirmation Magnets A-Z. At 20 verses per page, that is some 800 scriptures.
- The remaining 352 pages are teachings which include a special section on communion or the Lord’s Supper, and several discussions on how to build faith and prayer repetition like the apostles and Dr. John Lake practiced.
- For critical needs start with the Battle Prayer, then go back to the beginning and read the entire book out loud. If medical news go negative anytime in the process, go again straight to the Battle Prayer.
On healing and FM2, as with everything, it depends on where you are starting from. Dr. Lake learned how to pray for one person for weeks continuously to get them healed, and did it routinely. He found the Healing Rooms made the process somewhat faster.
But if they came every day for 30 days meant the patient spent some 3 hours a day, or 90 hours over the 30 days in the divine healing process. That is an hour in arriving, an hour in ministry, and then an hour in the going home process.
The ministers were doing this all day, 5-7 days a week, so in that same 30 days they were getting 12 hours a day or 360 hours over that same 30 days. All of that is a whole lot more than the “one prayer” approach.
But notice that the ministers were in a daily “cramming” situation, and even the patient was getting at least an hour a day of “cramming” truth and thinking about it 3 hours a day.
So both the minister and the patient were involved in daily mind renewing or “cramming” sessions for hours a day. For the patient, at least initially, it was by environment and external to them. But later it probably became internal for them. And since the minister was operating in the Healing Rooms, it was both internal and external for them.
The records of Dr. Lake demonstrate to my mind that his method is superior to others I have seen. especially if it is me or mine that is sick, or if I want to increase the power in my healing ministry.
I minister until they are healed, as long as they will let me. Most Americans expect a “one prayer” healing. Dr. Lake did not operate that way. He was a pastor and found out what got people healed rather than just praying to see who got healed. Yes, 25% can get healed in a church service on a “one prayer” basis, what about the other 75%? Dr. Lake’s method addresses that. But it is up to the patient to keep coming back, and that by itself is a faith act.
Other Areas: Since salvation includes healing, then with small adaptations of source scriptures, the teaching and healing prayer sections can be adapted to any need, such as financial, emotional, relational, etc.
Discovering Our Redemption is for:
- Faith building by discovering what Jesus accomplished from the Last Supper to the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago. These are the facts of our Redemption in the blood of Jesus.
- Learning the facts of our Identification in Christ in the new creation man by the Law of Covenant Identification.
- Learning how to use these Redemption facts to walk as Jesus would have us walk to His glory and our personal happiness.
- Group or individual discussion and Bible study.
- By using it as a straight through cramming or immersion session of 3-5 days, while reading every scripture 2 or 3 times, people have also gotten divine healing and marvelous prayer answers as they fill themselves with these Redemption truths prior to ministry.
The book consists of some 579 pages, and unlike the other two books in the Power Trilogy, is more of a standard teaching book. The first half of the book discusses the facts of Redemption and the second half is on how to apply these facts into daily life for godly results.
Discovering Our Redemption provides the biblical facts and understanding as background for the other two books in the Power Trilogy (OK, GOD, Now What and Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2).
APPLICATIONS – Lets get moving!
These are our suggested programs, but we always defer to Holy Spirit as He knows you and your situation better. If you hear voices telling you, “Oh this is way too much, do less, all this is not necessary” Be wary and test it per 1 John 4:1-3.
If you hear a voice saying, “Do more, this is it.” Again test it per 1 John 4:1-3, but that is more like what God says in the Bible.
Ps 119:164 “Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
1 Thess 5:16 “Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks (exuberant thanksgiving, praise and rejoicing): for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
If you want to grow in God, here is what Paul said:
1 Cor 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
Notice the grace of God put Paul to work! And the more he held onto that grace, the harder he worked, and the grace of God kept him doing it.
Since God is no respecter of persons, if you know someone who is closer to God than you are, then whether by accident, intention of others, or gifting, they did the things to get there.
Rom 2:11 “For there is no respect of persons with God.”
Gal 2:6 “But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me.”
Eph 6:9 “And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.”
Col 3:25 “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.”
1 Peter 1:17 “And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:”
Acts 10:34 “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
It is right works that gets you closer to God and allows Him to enter this earth with blessing, not administrative decisions of God to give or withhold blessing. The problem is us, not God.
Hos 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (that leads to right and glad obedience, and not administrative decisions by God) … .”
Now I have a question for you. If Jesus, Paul, James, Peter, all the early Christians lived this kind of life with 3-6 hours a day, and 1-4 all nights a week in scripture prayer, why not you if you want the same results they got?
Acts 6:4 “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
What we do is show what God requires and provide tools to make the initial recovery and the ongoing maintenance program the most efficient, i.e., get the most results in the least time. Many call this not just working, but working smart. That is what is in the Power Trilogy.
But do not say, “This is not my calling,” because God is NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS.
Gal 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap zoe/life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
You are sowing or maintaining something 24 x 365, choose life and get to work!
You may have noticed, it is easy to fall down, but it takes an effort to get up and keep going. It is not how many times you fall that matters, but how many times you get up.
If you are waiting for God to make the next move, think again. You draw nigh to Him first; He has already made His move. It is Him causing you to want more of Him. It is God calling you to seek Him diligently. And we know of no better tools than the Power Trilogy.
James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”
Or: Seek God and He will seek you.
Remember each Power Trilogy book has more details on how to use it inside them.
1. If you need an immediate physical healing result, for yourself or others, here are three methods to apply at the same time or sequentially.
a) Cramming by immersing yourself in the truths of divine healing. (Cramming means 8-20 hours a day for 2-6 days, and saying out loud every scripture 2-5 times.)
i. Cram using Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2
ii. Cram using Discovering Our Redemption
b) For a slower pace spend 2-6 hours every day in FM2 until healed.
c) Longer term mind renewing using OK, GOD, Now What.
2. You want to move into breakthrough in some area of life.
- Longer term mind renewing using OK, GOD, Now What
- Combine with studying Discovering Our Redemption
- For immediate prayer, use Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2 and change the focus from physical healing to the need at hand.
3. If the problem involves people making decisions in your favor. Know Jesus demonstrated casting out demons, healing and the earth respond to immediate commands, but just as seen in the religious rulers of His day, human hearts take longer. Here your biggest challenge is how to walk in love, righteousness, peace and joy by Holy Spirit while you trust God to move people’s hearts.
- Longer term mind renewing using OK, GOD, Now What
- Combine with studying Discovering Our Redemption
- For prayer, use Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2 and change the focus from physical healing to the need at hand. The word translated as healing, sozo, also means salvation from any trouble. For God it is all included in “healing” but to us we may differentiate among different manifestations of healing.
At first doing any of this will be a project and the devil will resist in every way he can. You will have to persevere until the new habits are in place and the old habits remade. This will take at least 90 days if you do the 2-6 hours a day. For some the 2 hours works well with rapid progress, for others they need 60 hours a day. It all depends on how much truth you already have written in your subconscious mind.
Start where you can. You will add more time over time. Eventually this will be a lifestyle and you are living it all day easily and naturally.
As for praise, worship, etc, that is included in the Affirmation Magnets/Minister Confessions. What you will discover is that over continued mind renewing as provided in the Power Trilogy, thanksgiving, praise and joy will come easier and deeper with less effort. And you will experience the same while you are doing the Affirmation Magnets. Go with it as you have time.
God’s Swiss Army Knife: Thus the Affirmation Magnets are intentional mind renewing, focused prayer, confession, proclamation, praise, worship, and an effective way to seek God continually. And that is because they are +90% Scripture.
The teaching sections in the Power Trilogy are cognitive learning to help you understand and appreciate the power of the Affirmation Magnets. And most chapters are great for stirring you and others into more faith and joy in God. Many people use them for their daily devotional material
The Affirmation Magnets already have thanksgiving and praise sections in it. With faithfulness and diligence in the Affirmation Magnets, eventually you will walk around all day in thanksgiving and praise. When in doubt, do more Affirmation Magnets or preach to yourself any of the chapters in any of the Power Trilogy books.
God’s answer for every thing is your new identity in Christ. Get that right and everything else gets easier and more automatic. And that is the focus of the Power Trilogy.
Yes, you will be consumed with these three books for a long time. At first is will be exciting as something new, then a labor, and after a while it will become a joy.
We are talking about getting the New Testament revelation deep into your heart first, and then everything else will fall into place. And you will get a constant stream of new revelation as you build your knowledge base in the scriptures.
I hope this makes is easier to figure out how to use the Power Trilogy for your specific needs.
If you have any questions, please contact us and we will be glad to help in any way we can.
WHAT ABOUT GIFTINGS?
Many have been taught that it is a special anointing, a special impartation, a special revelation, a special calling, a special gifting or a special something, but God continually repeats in the New Testament that God is not a respecter of persons. You allow God to move by doing the right things. That means doing the right things that will cause you to think, speak and do with a clear heart before God. And that takes an effort. And that is what we include in the Power Trilogy.
One way to understand this is that the Power Trilogy is for the fruit of the Spirit while you may operate in various gifts of Holy Spirit. God’s ultimate goal for each of us is a fruitful life, not one operated by gifts while our hearts remain worldly.
There are no wrong answers here, only seek more of Jesus who already paid for every failure we ever made, are now making, or will make. Since He was healed of it, so are you. It is there waiting for you to get it.
There is no sin or combination of sins that is greater than the blood of Jesus, and there are no work or combination of works you can do that will qualify you for salvation or healing in Jesus. It is all by grace, yet the grace of God puts us to right, godly work in the Scriptures.
James 1:21 “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and lambano/receive (hold onto as a man overboard in a rough sea holding onto a life preserver, or a warrior holding his sword in battle, with diligence and strength) with meekness (accept the word as truth above all your circumstances) the engrafted word (the word of God you have forced deep into your cognitive and subconscious minds), which is able to sozo/save your souls (heart, mind, will and emotions).”
It will be shameful for you to show up on the Day of Judgment and see that every hardness of heart was already healed and waiting for you to do the right labour to get that hardness of heart healing already done in Jesus.
And thus you will be a co-laborer with God to fulfill His new covenant in you in this life:
Heb 10:15 “Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is (sins and iniquities), there is no more offering for sin.”
A Bible not devoured is like bags of seed stored away. The potential of God into the Earth is there, but rarely a harvest is made. Jesus is the Seed. The only soil that matters is your heart.
